IditaRead program in February & March

IditaRead is an exciting winter reading program coming up that will correspond with the Iditarod Race during the months of February and March!

We will create a simplified version of the Iditarod route on the wall following the staircase up to the Library. Each participant will have a sled in the race. Watch as the individual sleds make the 975-mile trek from Anchorage to Nome!

(1 page read or read to you = 1 mile).

Visit the library to get your very own sled to decorate, sign up, and get an official tracking sheet. The reading race starts on February 1st!
