Renewal and Check-out Period Policy

Patrons may have an initial check-out period and up to two renewals, all of which may vary in length of time, so long as the total amount of time items remain checked-out for does not exceed 9 weeks. In other words, the maximum time frame library items may remain checked-out for, before having to be returned, is 9 weeks.

For books and audiobooks, the typical check-out period is 3 weeks. For movies and video games, the typical check-out period is 1 week. Renewal periods for these items are generally the same length of time as the typical check-out periods.

Initial check-out periods may be extended up to 9 weeks (but if the full 9 weeks is requested, no renewals will be permitted).
