Volunteers needed again!

It’s that time of year again – spring has sprung and our volunteers are “flying away.” We are losing quite a few volunteers by the end of May, so the library is in need of help! Are you free on Wednesdays? How about Tuesday afternoons? The library is in immediate need of volunteers who can work either the 12-2 pm shift on Wednesdays or the 2-4:30 pm shift on Tuesdays. We can also always use folks who are willing to “fill in” as needed when volunteers who work regular shifts can’t make their shifts. Volunteering at the library is a great way to meet community members (you see everyone), work with friendly people, and do community service (especially if you are in high school). It is really important we have enough volunteers to cover all the shifts and hours the library is open. Not only is that because we want to keep the library open during times the community wants us to be open, but under our grant terms, we are required to remain open a certain amount of hours each week.
