What Programs and Services Would You Like to See in Your Library and Other Alaskan Libraries over the Next Five Years?
The Alaska State Library provides funds to Alaska’s libraries so that they can experiment with or improve their programs and services to you and your family. For each of the three large goals listed below, what types of programs or services would you like to see the State Library fund in your library?
Goal 1: Alaska libraries will provide access to content in current and emerging formats for all Alaskans. (Content includes books, magazines, newspapers, audiovisuals, e-books, and other new formats.)
Goal 2: Alaska libraries will support lifelong learning for Alaskans working in and served by libraries. (Lifelong learning includes training and education for library staff and a broad range of educational and cultural opportunities for the public.)
Goal 3: Alaska libraries will explore evolving roles as anchor institutions that benefit their communities. (Evolving roles include providing community meeting spaces, serving as disaster response locations, developing partnerships with other community organizations, and meeting other community needs.)
What is your five digit zip code? (For demographic purposes only)
