Further reading on science and evolution

Dr. Leslie Cornick, who was the speaker at last week’s lecture on evolution, has sent the following resources and notes on her recommendations for more reading on the topic:
- “On the Origin of Species by Charles Darwin! It’s the original source, and a beautiful read!
- “Why Darwin Matters by Michael Shermer – matter of fact explanation of evolution versus creationism [we have this one in the library collection–dir.]
- “Consilience by EO Wilson – a great easy read on resolving the conflict between science and religion”
And for web resources, Dr. Cornick says that she feels that the National Center for Science Education provides the best coverage and additional materials.
